EXPERIENCE	
Software Engineer,  Computer Associates Intl.			            January 2002-Present
	Assisted with developing a stand-alone Remote Procedure Call (RPC) engine that would 
    allow Windows based code to be ported to Unix.  Currently participating in an 
    ongoing port of eTrust Antivirus to Mac OS X.  Some of the small projects involve 
    researching differences between OS X and other Unix platforms, rewriting shell scripts, 
    implementing new authentication and tcp/ip socket modules, adding language 
    internationalization, as well as adding Mac-specific GUI elements to emulate 
    command-line functionality.

Freelance Web Developer                                               June 2002-Present
    Volunteered services to design websites for various local organizations and companies.  
    Projects involved HTML template development, graphic design using Photoshop, and 
    client- and server-side scripting written in JavaScript, Perl, and PHP.  Some database 
    integration was also performed using PHP and MySQL.

Lab Assistant, Ithaca College                                      August 2001-May 2002
    Assisted professors and students in 100 and 300 level computer science courses.  
    Instructed students in the development of their course websites.  Identified coding 
    errors in Java, Javascript, and HTML.  Tutored students in a one-on-one setting for 
    topics such as HTML frames, tables, and image compression.  Supported various 
    software packages including Borland J-Builder and C++Builder, Macromedia 
    Dreamweaver, Jasc Paint Shop Pro, and Ipswitch WS_FTP.
